Zoom is wonderful. The term breakout room may be unfamiliar to many people, but in short, it is a function that allows you to set up downolading rooms for up to 50 teams during a meeting and hold individual meetings there. Install the free Zoom app, click on “New Meeting,” and invite up to people to join you on video! Since Zoom is of course a web conferencing tool, you can host or participate in online meetings as well. Also, toggle on Let desktop apps access your camera. Once people join you can make those people the Co-Host the Co-Host has the same thing as the host, Just that the host has more advantage in the Zoom can end the meeting, change peoples names, chat with people and more things.

You Surface Book 1 should compatible with Zoom Meeting. Can you try to contact Zoom support to check on this also. Maybe the installer version you are trying to use is incorrect for the Surface Book 1.

When you hit the download button, is there any pop up on message at the bottom of the browser where you could choose between Run or Save? Can you try to access the link using Internet Explorer? If as a Standard User, please try using an Admin account.
