Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has made it possible for 2000 underprivileged Muslims to perform their Haj duty through its Al-Khair prepaid card initiative within 5 years of its launch. Under the initiative, 0.25 per cent of returns from the card is set aside as donation for people who do not have the means to perform Haj. The selection of the pilgrims was done in consultation with Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf.
Al-Khair card is an Islamic product, which helps clients to control their personal expenses, and help the poor to go to Hajj & Umra. Every spend using this card is helping a noble cause by sending needy people to Hajj & Umra.
Anyone above 18 years of age having a KFH account is eligible for Al-Kheir Card. There is no need for credit history, nor any restrictions on the basis of salary or account balance.
