Google revealed the top trending Google terms of 2015 in A Year in Search. Google’s annual project A Year in Search provides an insight and perspective on 2015’s major events and trends based on searches.

According to the data Google provided, Apple’s iPhone 6s was the most searched term in the UAE.

The most searched for person was in UAE was Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as people searched the late royal’s life accomplishments following his untimely passing earlier this year.

Among the biggest trending brands for 2015 were Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Souq.com and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.
